ABOUT us

AfroLatin Egypt is one of the international leading entities in professional dance, we offer classes, organize events, and provide dancers for events, video shooting, etc.
Our passion is dance, so we promote all its types & the culture of each for authenticity.

Since 2010 we’ve done a lot to the dance scene in Egypt:

  1. Annual international festivals, international dance marathon, international & local trips, hundreds of workshops, boot-camps & parties.
  2. We introduced new dances via our events: Kizomba, Semba, Zouk (Brazilian), Bachata (Dominican & Sensual), Rueda de Bachata, Bachatango, Bolero, Kaizen Dance, Dances of Cape Verde, AfroHouse & Kuduro, and still we’re trying to bring (Forró, Samba de Gafieira, & more)

So we had the biggest effect & we put Egypt on the international dance map.

Currently we provide classes with big focus on proper techniques, deep understanding of this nice art, its culture & ethics.
We teach mainly Kizomba, Semba & Zouk, in addition to Salsa, Bachata, Rueda de Casino, Rueda de Bachata, and more, few dances are provided by our network & partner schools.

In our main events, as an added value we add a bit of our culture & other activities using our touristic treasure.

Over the years we gained people trust and became well known by presenting quality, and meeting people expectations.

Vision:

We hope to spread the dance art all over Egypt, and make it a unique destination for dancers from around the world, where they can enjoy dance along with our great touristic treasure.

Mission:

Inspire people for a better life & create great dancers.

How we started?

In 2010 we were few friends who knew about the new dances starting to be popular, so we thought to introduce those dances to our dance community in Egypt, so first we invited teachers from abroad to introduce mainly Kizomba & few more, then later in Dec-2010 we had our “1st AfroLatin Dance Festival” and to ensure its success we mixed the new dances with the existing ones (Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, etc.).
At that time we didn’t have our name “AfroLatin Egypt”, but later in May-2011 “Amr Kasseb” decided that we create this entity under the name of “AfroLatin Egypt” as he was looking forward to cover all dances, and his vision became real.
